Google Verified makes it easier to find trusted local businesses advertising on Google
Starting in October, we’ll be unifying all Local Services Ads (LSA) badges to create a single, clear signal of a business‘ credibility. Moving forward, you’ll see a Google Verified badge icon on all eligible Local Services Ads profiles that have completed the necessary screening and verification process.
The new badge will show alongside details of which verification checks a business has passed. We’ll also display the badge dynamically on LSAs, when predicted to aid decision making. Google Verified will replace other LSA badges and programs, like Google Guaranteed, Google Screened, License Verified by Google and the Money Back Guarantee.
“The new design of the Local Services Ads unit offers the clarity users seek. Google’s ongoing platform enhancements and adjustments—shaped by feedback from partners and users—reflect its long-term commitment to connecting small businesses with high-intent buyers.”

“Google’s move to streamline LSA badges into a single Google Verified checkmark is a smart, customer-first update that simplifies the experience without compromising trust. Having worked with LSAs since 2019, I’ve seen how visual cues drive consumer decisions, and this change brings clarity and consistency where it counts most, on the LSA profile.”
